welcome to FEVER, a fanlisting for stingrays - some of the strangest and most beautiful seacreatures in existence.

STINGRAYS Otherwise known as dasyatids or dasyatidae, stingrays are a family of seacreatures related to sharks and manta rays. Their unusual and almost unearthly appearance and friendly nature (seriously, for a fish they're pretty damn endearing) has always made them one of my favourite animals, so I thought it'd be nice to have a site to show my appreciation of them. The site's name comes from the collective noun for them - a fever of stingrays. Kind of poetic, huh?
